Nourse Farm Operations

Olde Nourse Farm Gourmet’s berries come from the Nourse Farm, located in Westborough, Massachusetts. The Nourse Farm specializes in berry production, and also grows a variety of fruits and vegetables. Visitors can come see the jam being prepared, purchase fresh produce at the Farm Store or pick their own berries in the surrounding fields. The Nourse Farm also retails its produce at local farmers' markets on a weekly basis in Newton, Grafton, and Boston.

The Farm Store
The Farm Store is located at the center of the Nourse Farm, at the edge of berry, vegetable and flower fields. Smells of fresh jam cooking, berry pies baking, or the scent of herbs and fresh cut flowers welcome visitors. The store offers Nourse Farm seasonal vegetables, jams, fresh-baked pies, fruit sauces, honey as well as locally made ice cream from May 1st to December 31st.

Pick-Your-Own Crops
Starting in early June and ending in October, the Nourse Farm offers “pick-your-own” fresh berries in the scenic fields surrounding the farm. Strawberries are ripe in June, different varieties of raspberries from July through October, blueberries in July and early August and blackberries in August and September. In the fall, pumpkins are available for picking as well. Picking times are from 9 am – 6 pm throughout the summer, though visitors should call the Farm Store at 508-366-2644 to confirm times and berry availability. Farmers’ Markets
The Nourse Farm offers its produce, jams, sauces and baked goods at local farmers’ markets on a weekly basis. Currently, the Nourse Farm is retailing in Newton, Grafton, and Boston. Call the Farm Store at 508-366-2644 for additional details about the Farmers’ Markets.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) at the Nourse Farm

The Nourse Farm offers community members the opportunity to receive a weekly allotment of fresh fruits and vegetables by investing in the farm’s production. By purchasing shares in the harvest, community members gain the freshest seasonal produce and reap the satisfaction of supporting local agriculture. The Herd
Harkening back to its dairy past, the Nourse Farm raises beef cattle and currently the "herd" number 15 steers and calves. Besides keeping the grass low, the cattle produce delicious beef and the Nourse Farm plans to offer it at the Farm Store in the future.
